# Using Workflows to Create Videos in InVideo AI

Workflows in InVideo AI provide pre-configured templates to help you create specific types of videos, like YouTube Shorts or explainer videos, quickly and efficiently. By starting with a workflow, you can streamline the creation process with settings tailored for your project. Dinakar Tumu

This article guides you through finding and launching a workflow.

## How to Use a Workflow

Follow these steps to start creating a video with a workflow:

1. From your InVideo AI dashboard, click the **Workflows** button located below the main prompt area.

2. A search bar will appear. Type the kind of video you want to make. For this example, we will type `short video`.

3. Select the desired workflow from the search results. In this case, click the **Short Video** workflow.

4. A configuration window will open. Here, you can type your topic and adjust various settings for your video, such as **Background music**, **Language**, **Subtitles**, and **Voice Actors**, before proceeding.

Once you have configured the settings and entered your topic, you can proceed to generate your video.
