Promoting Your Own Petition

When you start a petition, you have access to a dedicated dashboard with tools to help you reach a wider audience.

1. Navigate to My petitions in the header and select the petition you wish to manage. You will land on the Petition overview dashboard, which summarizes your supporter count and performance.

2. Click on Share petition in the left-hand navigation menu to access your toolkit. The Social media content section provides downloadable, pre-made assets optimized for different platforms.

3. Scroll further down the page to find options to Share petition online via direct links and email, or Share petition in person using downloadable QR codes and posters.

Sharing Petitions You Support

You can also easily spread the word about other petitions that align with your values.

1. On the petition page, click the Take the next step! button to begin the sharing process.

2. You may be prompted to sponsor the petition to increase its visibility. To continue without contributing financially, click No, I’ll share instead.

3. You will be presented with a sharing dashboard. Use the provided buttons to share directly to social platforms like Facebook, WhatsApp, and X, or copy the unique link to share manually.
